Our story

"Petro ofsetas" is a well-know and recognized printing house in Lithuania. Our clientele is diverse, encompassing both newcomers to the publishing industry and market leaders, we are dedicated to assisting in the realization of first ideas, as well as projects that demand exceptional quality.

We actively engage in promoting Lithuanian culture and participate in projects of national significance. Additionally, since 2010, "Petro ofsetas" has been a valued member of the Lithuanian Printers Association, actively contributing to the advancement and improvement of the sector.

All this reflects our values and vision, which were shaped by the company's founder, Petras Kalibatas, over three decades.

Back in 1994 in Vilnius, Petras made the decision to start his own business, establishing a small individual company providing copying and publishing services. Although he didn't have high expectations initially, the business flourished, and today, three generations of the family work in the printing house – a highly unique aspect in Lithuania.

Petras' children, son-in-law, and granddaughter continue to uphold and build upon the knowledge and skills he passed on, ensuring that the printing craft continues to enrich Lithuania. We remain passionate about books and are committed to contributing to the development of book culture both in our country and around the world.

Petras Kalibatas was an individual who cherished culture yet possessed a rebellious spirit, a spirit that imbued the printing house he founded. With an artistic flair and a rebellious streak, we have embarked on ambitious projects that have earned us numerous awards for our exemplary printing and binding quality.

One such remarkable project is the book "Baltas" by Paulius Normantas, which has found its place in the Lithuanian Book of Records as the longest folding book. Additionally, in 2014, our high-quality facsimile of the book "Metai" by K. Donelaitis was honored with the prestigious "Lithuanian Product of the Year" award. Recognizing Petras Kalibatas' active contributions to the field of printing and culture, he was personally rewarded with the "Medal of the Order for Services to Lithuania" in 2019.

Overall, our printing house remains true to the spirit of its founder - pure love for books coupled with a rebellious and innovative approach in the market. Our commitment to excellence and creativity continues to drive us forward, leaving a mark on Lithuania's cultural landscape.
